Your main responsibilities

  • Negotiate and supervise agreements and terms surrounding the purchase of raw materials or other products under his/her responsibility;
  • Negotiate the terms surrounding the purchase of raw materials: transport terms and warranty terms by remaining in communication with internal customers;
  • Analyze inventory variations for products under his/her responsibility;
  • Search for new suppliers and new products to better meet customer demands and needs;
  • Place purchase orders and ensure follow-up;
  • Establish delivery schedules for products under his/her responsibility;
  • Resolve problems arising from warranties, late deliveries, quantity errors, etc.;
  • Anticipate and/or highlight any significant price variations to management;
  • Communicate any problem that could have an impact on production planning;
  • Perform any other related tasks.

The profile we are looking for

  • You have 5 years or more of experience in the manufacturing field;
  • You are perfectly bilingual in French and English, in order to be able to communicate with foreign suppliers;
  • You are a good negotiator;
  • You are skilled at managing several files at once;
  • You are proactive and like to take on challenges!
