Negotiate and supervise agreements and terms surrounding the purchase of raw materials or other products under his/her responsibility;
Negotiate the terms surrounding the purchase of raw materials: transport terms and warranty terms by remaining in communication with internal customers;
Analyze inventory variations for products under his/her responsibility;
Search for new suppliers and new products to better meet customer demands and needs;
Place purchase orders and ensure follow-up;
Establish delivery schedules for products under his/her responsibility;
Resolve problems arising from warranties, late deliveries, quantity errors, etc.;
Anticipate and/or highlight any significant price variations to management;
Communicate any problem that could have an impact on production planning;
Perform any other related tasks.
The profile we are looking for
You have 5 years or more of experience in the manufacturing field;
You are perfectly bilingual in French and English, in order to be able to communicate with foreign suppliers;
You are a good negotiator;
You are skilled at managing several files at once;
You are proactive and like to take on challenges!
