The Ovaltech shelter is the best modern alternative for porcine, ovine and bovine production.
This shelter is highly recommended for bedded production.
The natural ventilation and natural sunlight in the shelter reduces the risks of disease and problems such as mastitis. The rapid weight gain of your herd gives you a quicker return on your investment.

The latest model, the Ovaltech III, was introduced in 1999. The Ovaltech III has straighter sides than other models in the Ovaltech series, which maximizes interior space. In addition, the cost per square foot is less than the other models.

  • Larger oval tubes (2"x3-9/13") increase the structure’s span without reducing the load capacity of the Ovaltech III.
  • In the absence of side roll-ups there are curved purlins which allow any inside condensation to flow to the bottom of the greenhouse and promote snow shedding.
  • Natural ventilation with side roll-ups at the ridge with a butterfly type opening or one roll-up side.
  • Superior grade steel protection applied to our greenhouse components varies according to use and location. For the Ovaltech series, we use Gatorshield, Z-600 and galvalume.

The ideal environment for your livestock

The Maxidome is more economical to buy and operate than conventional farm buildings. For healthy and productive livestock, the Maxidome greenhouse barn was designed and is manufactured by Harnois. This solar greenhouse barn was specially designed for livestock. Ideal for large numbers of calf pens, loose-housing barns or replacement animal shelters. Its unique ridge vent provides the best fresh air conditions for your herd and eliminates corrosion caused by condensation as well as providing a clean and dry environment in which animals thrive.

The Maxidome can be easily and quickly installed. The pre-drilled parts assembled with nuts and bolts do not require any welding.

The Nordique is generally used for loose housing barns. This gutter connected structure is adaptable to any situation. From small to large farms, its modular concept allows customization such as troughs with feeding alleys and expansion in any direction.

  • Heavy duty 3" posts spaced 12 feet apart carry the gutter from 10' to 14'.
  • Oval shaped steel arches are 25% stronger than equivalent round tubes.
  • Swedged tube ends slip easily into one another.
  • Pre-drilled 10” gutters slide one into the next.
  • Curved purlins allow condensation to flow towards the gutter and facilitate snow shedding.
  • Natural ventilation system with gutter, ridge and side openings, and butterfly opening at ridge. All of our natural ventilation systems are available with manual or power-operated operation.
  • Superior quality steel protection is applied to all parts.
