Casa Verde is a true hybrid structure. It is a cross between a shade house and a conventional production greenhouse. It is Harnois' solution to maximizing and increasing productivity at the lowest possible cost.

This hybrid greenhouse takes advantage of temperate and tropical climates, while offering useful protection against insects, cold and rain.

  • The insect screen installed on the exterior walls and roof of the hybrid greenhouse promotes maximum ventilation, while protecting against harmful organisms. In addition, it acts as a sunlight diffuser and provides a beneficial shaded environment for plants.
  • When the temperature drops or rain occurs, the polyethylene roof deploys automatically* to protect crops in the greenhouse.
  • When it gets too hot, the roof retracts* to provide superior ventilation of the greenhouse.
